WEST HAVEN — A high school student in West Haven was struck by a car on Forest Road Wednesday morning.  West Haven Police and the West Haven Fire Department responded to the accident around 6:30 a.m.

Police said the male teen was crossing Forest Road to get to a bus stop when the accident occurred. The school bus was approaching but had not yet reached the stop, police said.
