MANCHESTER — A student at Manchester High School produced a touching video to remember the staffer who died Wednesday.

Manchester High School officials said longtime security guard Barry “Mitch” Mitchell collapsed outside the school Wednesday morning and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officials said the cause of death was a heart attack.

The video was produced Thursday by Myles Hurley, a television production student, as a tribute to Mitch, according to Eric Larson, a video production teacher at the school.

Students and administrators were interviewed in the video, and they talked about what an impact Mitchell had on them. The video also shows Wednesday evening‘s vigil at the school where hundreds gathered on the grounds of the high school.
