HARTFORD -- Jake is a Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is 3-years-old or so and is neutered.

Jake is full of personality and fun! True to the breed, he has a lot of energy, but he’s very attentive to his people and very interactive.

He “checks in” constantly, as if he’s awaiting his next request or directive. He’d be great for someone who prefers a big dog for their activity level, but perhaps needs something smaller in stature, physically. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in confidence and ability!

Jake is a smart little dog who likes to be busy, but knows how to down-shift when it’s time to chill. He gets along with other dogs and cats, mostly, but true to his breed, if he gets bent about something, you’ll know it!

He was found roaming and rescued from local animal control. He was placed once, and lived with cats and mastiffs. He got along with both until he got “bent”!
