Police say autopsy results in Bristol woman’s death were inconclusive

BRISTOL — Police identified a woman found dead in her apartment Wednesday but have not determined the cause of death.

Bristol police were called to 192 Main St. Connecticut State Police were also investigating the untimely death.

Police identified the victim as Kimberly Rudy, 43, who lived in the apartment. Her body was found by her live-in boyfriend inside their Bristol apartment shortly after 4 a.m.

Police said her boyfriend called police on Wednesday morning and said she was unresponsive. She was declared dead at the scene.

Police said the results of the autopsy were inconclusive pending further studies.

State police are helping with the investigation.
