HARTFORD -- Yvette Sincavage and Anna Sincavage (well known by customers as Mamma) of Skappo Italian Wine Bar came by FOX61's Good Day Connecticut to share a cannoli recipe featured recently in Pinterest’s World’s Fare Report. Here is their cannoli recipe:
- 4 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1c powdered sugar
- Zest of one lemon
- 1tbs vanilla
- 2tbs honey
- 1 1/2c mini chocolate chips
Press ricotta through a sieve and once all is pressed through add honey, zest and vanilla. Once smooth add powdered sugar and gently fold in chocolate chips. Put into piping bag (or make your own with a ziploc bag) and chill for 1-2 hours. Pipe into your shells immediately before serving and enjoy!
