CHESHIRE — Police said a teenage girl was struck by a tractor-trailer Friday evening.
Cheshire police said around 3 p.m., a 14-year-old girl was struck by an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer at a crosswalk at the corner of West Main and Main Street. Police said the truck was making a right turn onto Main Street when the rear tires of the truck struck the girl’s leg.
Police said the girl was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
Police said the driver is fully cooperating with the investigating.
