VERNON — West Street in Vernon is now open following an accident Wednesday afternoon.
Vernon police said a car hit a pole and brought down power lines shortly after. Police closed West Street between West Main and Union Street and crews from Eversource were requested to restore power to the area.
There were no reported injuries.
