Report: Hartford in top 10 list of population density growth

HARTFORD —  While some city’s idealize the idea of crammed downtowns, the nation is actually becoming more suburban and at a faster pace.

Unless you live in Hartford, which, according to the New York Times, is rounding out the top 10 list of population density growth from 2010 to 2016.

Seattle is urbanized as the most going up three percent from 2010 to 2016. Chicago with a little over 1 percent. Among those increasing is Washington, Boston, and New York.

Hartford rounds out the list with a .3 percent increase.
