After a couple of days in the lower humidity, muggy air and summer warmth come surging back Friday into this weekend. While there will be a few chances for showers or thunderstorms, most of the activity will be isolated/hit or miss and not worthy or canceling or moving outdoor plans.

Friday will be partly cloudy, very warm and humid with high temperatures in the mid 80s to near 90 degrees. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible in northwest Connecticut but most towns will stay dry. This is great news for early fireworks celebrations!

Saturday will also be warm and humid but with a slightly better chance for a thunderstorm and a few more clouds, temperatures will be a few degrees lower with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms will be more numerous overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. The rest of the day Sunday looks dry for now with highs in the mid to upper 80s and the humidity slowly trailing off (mainly later in the day).

Monday looks sunny, warm and pleasant with low humidity.  Temperatures  will climb into the mid to upper 80s.

July 4th looks like an amazing day with lots of sun, warm air and only a slight chance for a shower later in the day.
