TORRINGTON — Torrington police are investigating an untimely death on Wolcott Avenue.
Torrington police said they responded to 33 Wolcott Ave around 6 p.m. Friday night. They are saying the death is not ruled suspicious.
Around 10 p.m., police located an old military pressure release firing devices.
As a result, the bomb squad was called in to remove the devices.
They weren’t attached to any explosives and were not a danger to anyone.
As a precaution, residents in the houses next to the address were evacuated for a shot period of time.
Information on the death is still under investigation and no additional details have been released.
