SOUTHINGTON — A workplace accident seriously injured an employee Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the Rex Forge Steel Mill on Atwater Street where they said they found an employee with a deep cut to their head. The employee was rushed to Saint Mary’s Trauma Center in Waterbury.
Police and OSHA are investigating.
No additional details have been released at this time.
