NEW LONDON — Police have cancelled a Silver Alert previously issued for a missing 25-year-old patient in New London.
Megan Scanlon was reported missing on Friday.
The Silver Alert was cancelled around 9:30 Sunday morning. It is unclear where Scanlon was found, or where she went missing from.
Silver Alerts are issued by law enforcement agencies for missing people of all ages. Amber Alerts are issued for children who are believed to be in danger.
