EAST LYME — The East Lyme Police Department said they arrested a man after he allegedly stole several packages from a home Tuesday.
East Lyme police said the alleged theft happened around 1:30 p.m.
“Information regarding the accused was immediately broadcast to area Police Departments and the video/photo shared on social media. The identity of the suspect was quickly established, and with assistance from Parole and the Groton Town Police Department, the accused was taken into custody,” police said.
Police said they arrested Ricky Rotondi, 29, and charged him with larceny in the sixth degree and trespass.
Rotondi is scheduled to appear in court on December 18 in New London.
