BRIDGEPORT –An all clear was given after a suspicious package was found at a Bridgeport community health clinic at 988 East Main Street, that had the Bridgeport Police Department Bomb Squad checking it out.
An instructor from the state police bomb squad said the suspicious package was on the second floor of the building.
Surrounding streets were closed during the investigation.
Officials said a call came into dispatch at around 9:30. The females caller said a package delivered yesterday from DHL was “suppose to contain a watch” but the package was much larger.
The area and building is safe, said officials.
