GROTON — The Groton Town Police Department have canceled a Silver Alert for 24-year-old Tyler E. Jacob, a United States Navy Sailor who lives in Groton.
Groton Police said was found safe and unharmed. No other information was released by police but they said there is no criminal aspect to this investigation.
Prior to his being located, it was reported that Tyler was last seen on Tuesday morning, April 17, when he left his home on his 2014 Honda CBR.
Groton Police detectives confirmed that Tyler was found safe and unharmed in another state.
Silver Alerts are issued by law enforcement agencies for missing people of all ages. Amber Alerts are issued for children who are believed to be in danger.
