MANCHESTER -- The Branford Hornets defeated the Cheney Tech Beavers Wednesday, 11-6, in the second round of the Class L state tournament.
The No. 12 Hornets will face No. 20 Bristol Eastern Saturday, June 2 at 2 p.m. at Branford High School.
