OXFORD, Connecticut — State police said a man's body was found in a submerged car early Tuesday morning.
State and Oxford Fire Rescue rescued a car from the water at Jackson Cove Park.
Officials said the incident happened just after midnight.
At 12:26 a.m., a 911 caller reported that a car was in the water at Jackson’s Cove in Oxford. Troopers from Troop A responded to the area.
A vehicle was located in the water about 50 feet from the shore. A lone male operator was found dead in the vehicle.
This incident remains under investigation, however police said there is no criminal aspect to the case.
