    NEW HAVEN — A car crashed onto the sidewalk outside a New Haven restaurant Friday afternoon. A woman lost control while she was traveling on College Street at Crown Street. It happened in front of the restaurant Pacifico around 2:30 p.m. “By the love of God, nobody was hurt,” Officer David Hartman told FOX61. The car slammed into tables and chairs where diners often sit, but luckily no one was seated at those tables at the time.

    BRIDGEPORT — Julian Fyffe, passenger in the car Jayson Negron was driving on May 9 when they got into an altercation with Bridgeport police, has filed a $6 million lawsuit against the city of Bridgeport. Fyffe is seeking court and attorney costs in addition to damages of $6 million.     NEWTOWN — The Newtown Police Department said a missing woman has made contact with her family Tuesday morning.     HAMDEN — A Branford woman is facing several charges after police said she attacked and assaulted multiple officers. On Saturday, May 13, officers in Hamden were called to a fight on Treadwell Street around 11:30 p.m. When officers got there, they found Wisdom South, 21, who had facial injuries.     HARTFORD — Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy  said layoff notices “probably have started” to be issued to some Connecticut state employees.     FARMINGTON — Police are investigating a break-in at Rapper 50 Cent‘s Farmington, Connecticut mansion, police said Tuesday.     NEW HAVEN — The New Haven Courthouse received a bomb threat phone call Tuesday morning just before 11 a.m. State Police Bomb Squad arrived on the scene and evacuated the New Haven County Courthouse on Church Street.
