    WALLINGFORD — Crews responded to a fire in an elderly housing complex on East Center Street in Wallingford Friday afternoon. One woman was hospitalized, fire officials said.     BRIDGEPORT — An Amber Alert issued Friday morning for Aylin Sofia Hernandez, 6, from Bridgeport, has been cancelled and her father is in custody.     HARTFORD — Gov. Dan Malloy signed an executive order protecting transgender students in Connecticut schools Thursday. Malloy and State Department of Education Commissioner Dianna R.
