    NORWALK — The Norwalk Police and the Connecticut Liquor Control Commission broke up a gathering at Johnny Utah’s, a bar,  where they said over 100 underage people were served there. Police arrived at the bar just after 11:30 p.m., and since there were so many people inside, they had to call for extra officers for help.   • Over 40 marijuana plants seized at old Manchester pizza restaurant

    MANCHESTER — Manchester Police busted up a marijuana growing operation in town. They say that the East Central Narcotics Task Force (ECNTF), got a tip about the operation in town. During the investigation, ECNTF secured a search warrant for 182 South Main Street, which used to be an old pizza restaurant. During the search, ECNTF along with the DEA found elaborate growing systems including lights, ballasts, ventilation systems, filters, and paraphernalia.   • Separate crashes on I-91 leave one dead, others injured

    WINDSOR — Two accidents on I-91 yesterday left one person dead, and others injured. State Police say that first, a tractor-trailer struck a juvenile girl on I-91 around 6:48 p.m., just north of Exit 35 southbound. The girl died of her injuries. The truck driver was not injured.   • Hartford police identify victim in fatal car vs pedestrian accident

    HARTFORD — Hartford police said they are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian early this morning. The incident happened just after 6 a.m.  at the intersection of Groton and Wyllys Streets. Officers arrived to find 52-year-old, Luis Torres, of Hartford, suffering from serious injuries.  An ambulance took him to Hartford Hospital but he did not survive.     NEW BRITAIN — Denisse Colon and her son Jensen Colon have been located in Pennsylvania and are fine, according to the New britain Police Department. A Silver Alert was issued Wednesday for the 36-year-old woman and her 7-year-old son who were last seen in New Britain Monday.     NEW BRITAIN — Two teens have been arrested after State Police said they stole a car in New Britain and led police on a 13-mile chase.     BRANFORD — Four teens and a 19-year-old man from Bridgeport were arrested after stealing a car, and crashing it into a Branford police cruiser. This is the second time a stolen car crashed into Branford police in a couple of weeks. The driver was only 14-years-old.     HARTFORD — Hartford Police say they’ve arrested 32-year-old Luis Quinones-Aponte of Groton after a fatal shooting in Hartford in February.
