More stringent gun laws are not the answer say many gun proponents. They say the mental health of individuals who get their hands on guns should be the primary focus. But the governor`s Sandy Hook Advisory Commission today heard some sobering testimony.
Simultaneous to the Sandy Hook hearing, recognition in Groton for Nelba Marquez-Greene, whose daughter Ana was among the Sandy Hook Elementary victims. Marquez-Greene, a licensed marriage and family therapist, was given a local organization`s service to families award and promises advocacy is her mission.
