Yesterday Michael Skakel argued on the stand that his attorney at the time was negligent in his duties, saying Mickey Sherman was someone who was more concerned with the media limelight than the client. This afternoon, Sherman refuted those accusations , saying he did his best in the case and was using a strategy designed to cast a doubt in the jury’s mind.
Throughout Sherman’s testimony, Skakel’s body language was obvious in showing his frustation, at times leaning over to his current attorney to say a few words. But the bottom line for today’s testimony was obvious, Sherman feels he did nothing wrong.
