State police searching for a 20-year-old Eastern Connecticut State University student said late Friday that they found a 2009 Nissan Altima they sought in connection with the case.

But the investigation into the disappearance of Alyssiah Wiley is continuing, state police said.

Wiley has not been heard from since Saturday. Her last known contact was through a text message.

The car, a black 4-door with tinted windows with Connecticut license plates 297-ZOY, was found Friday night.

State police were contacted Wednesday, according to university police. Detectives from the Major Crimes Squad and missing person bureau responded to the university, along with K-9 teams.
