It’s been nearly a week since anybody has heard from 20-year-old Alyssiah Wiley, and friends and family are concerned for the Eastern Connecticut State University student.
Cynthia Roberts, Wiley’s cheerleading coach, described her as a nice young lady who was very outgoing.
“She was motivated, she always strives to be the very best,” Roberts said. “She was never a troublemaker.”
The search has centered around the Eastern campus in Willimantic. Late Friday State Police circulated a photo of a Black 2009 Nissan Altima with Connecticut license plates 297-ZOY. Investigators believe it could be a crack in a case they are working quickly to solve.
“We hope that she’ll be found soon,” Roberts said. “That`s the hope that we have within the building and within the community. She’s a very nice young lady.”
