EAST HAVEN – A 25-year-old man is facing charges related to six different burglaries – five of which happened in a two-week span within a few streets of each other, police said.
John Doheny, of Waldo Street, was arrested on April 25 after investigators connected him with five burglaries within a few streets of his residence, police said. Doheny had previously been arrested on March 21 for another burglary, police said.
Doheny is facing 16 charges, including third-degree burglary, larceny and criminal mischief.
He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in New Haven on Wednesday.
Doheny was previously convicted of third-degree larceny, possession of narcotics and third-degree criminal mischief in May 2008, according to court records.
