Man Charged After Spitting On Reverend

Police say a New Haven man is paying the price for being rude and reckless to a reverend.
Twenty-year-old Leron Stone faces charges for spitting on well-known New Haven spiritual leader Father James Manship.
Manship told FOXCT that he saw Stone recklessly driving a dirt bike, so he decided to snap a picture. That is when Manship says Stone charged at his car with the bike and then spit on him.
Manship says it’s not the first time dirt bikes have been an issue near his fair haven parish. In fact. Police sergeanta in New Haven have been on a long-running mission to get illegal motor bikes off of city streets all over the city.
