Highs will average in the 70s inland and 60s along the shore, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s. In fact, high temperatures could potentially reach the 80 degree mark by Thursday afternoon across parts of inland Connecticut. With a southerly wind off Long Island Sound, expect temperatures to average a good 10 degrees cooler.
There will be a back door cold front that will deliver a band of clouds and maybe a sprinkle on Thursday night. High pressure from Eastern Canada will move southwest and deliver cooler weather for Friday as the wind direction is expected to be from the ESE, dropping temperatures 10 degrees cooler and back to the normal high in the upper 60s. High pressure will continue to dominate our weather through the weekend as temperatures will warmup into the 70s and overnight lows will average in the cool 40s.
