On Sunday, May 5, SolToro Tequila Grill is inviting everyone to their all-day fiesta, where they will be offering specials on their festive fare throughout the day.
This morning executive chef Kris Lincoln joins the Morning Extra to talk about the deals and to make one of the signature dishes.
Signature Tableside Guacamole
2 each avocado
2 tsp Spanish onion (fine dice)
½ tsp Serrano chili (fine dice)
½ tsp garlic (fine dice)
1 ½ Tbl fresh lime juice
2 tsp cilantro (chopped)
1 Tbl plum tomato (small dice)
1 tsp kosher salt
Mash the avocado with the onion, serrano, garlic, lime juice and most of the cilantro. Add salt to taste. Garnish with plum tomato and the remainder of cilantro. Add more or less Serrano for heat.
