Fungus-Like Substance Made Glastonbury Woman Ill

glastonburyGLASTONBURY Police removed a 91-year old woman from her home on Newberry Lane on Friday morning after police spotted what appeared to fungus in her home.

Glastonbury Police say that the woman called Lifeline just before 9 a.m. after a woman reported that she was having difficulty breathing.

Police responded to the call and found what appeared to be fungus in the home. Police have taken the woman out of the home and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has been called to the scene to determine what the substance is.
