A Spring morning in Windsor was spoiled by racist and homophobic graffiti Friday, with words and drawings scattered around the Poquonock neighborhood.

Now town leaders and residents are rattled.

There were 11 homes vandalized on Timothy Terrace, Michael Lane and West Street. Mailboxes, garage doors, vehicles and even homes were spray painted, some with explicit drawings and others  just random graffiti. The home of a town councilman was also targeted.

Windsor Police Captain Tom Lepore says they believe this is the act of teenagers because there were sexually explicit pictures painted on the rock at Windsor High School yesterday, and the two acts may be related.
