The Ride For Justin attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Connecticut each year because of the story behind the event.
Wisniewski died in a fire department exercise when he fell off a ladder, this ride is in his memory.
“I think he would be amazed,” his brother Matthew Wisniewski said. “Like we all are, how the magnitude of this has grown, eight years later and all these people, he’d say it was incredible.”
The proceeds from the event go to a set of scholarships for kids who share Justin’s values and love of volunteering.
