State police armed with questions stopped motorists Saturday night in Willimantic, while family and friends of Alyssiah Wiley spent the day on foot passing out flyers in Ansonia and Bridgeport.

This was all done with one goal in mind: to find the 20-year old Wiley who has been missing for two weeks.

All of this comes days after authorities and Wiley’s family pleaded for the public’s help in finding her at a news conference Thursday morning.

Wiley is 5-foot-6 and weighs around 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Wiley lives in a dorm on the ECSU campus, a university spokesman said. A release including a description of Wiley and police contact numbers was shared with university students and staff, he said.

Anyone with any information about Wiley is asked to contact state police at 860-685-8190.
