MANCHESTER Police said they seized marijuana — and evidence it was being sold — from a Mather Street home Monday.
Officers from a regional task force confiscated marijuana, a scale, packaging material and other drug paraphernalia from 97 Mather St., they stated in a press release. They focused on the house after hearing that drug activity was going on at the address.
Tyrone Davis, 18, of 97 Mather St., was charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school.
He also was arrested on three warrants charging him with sale and possession of marijuana, police said.
Davis was in custody on $125,000 bail after his arrest.
The narcotics officers are from the East Central Narcotics Task Force, which works to stop illegal drug use in Manchester, South Windsor, Vernon and Glastonbury.
