Fox CT’s Beau Berman investigates Ernesto Zedillo, the defendant in a 50 million dollar lawsuit.

Zedillo is a Connecticut resident and a Yale University professor. He has been accused of covering up the massacre of 45 men, women and children. He served as President of Mexico from 1994-2000. During his presidency, a total of 45 unarmed men, women and children were killed in the 1997 Acteal Massacre in Mexico. The victims were shot down by a para-military group, while the local police stood by.

Now, over a decade later, West Hartford Attorney Matt Dallas Gordon is representing 10 relatives of the Mexican victims in a 50 million dollar civil lawsuit brought against the man they believe was complicit in the attack:  former Mexican President, Ernesto Zedillo.
