BRIDGEPORT – The man charged with killing Eastern Connecticut State University student Alyssiah Wiley has a pending custody and child support case with another woman, state court records indicate.
Jermaine Richards, 30 of Bridgeport, the man Wiley’s family knew as her long-term boyfriend, was charged with murder and first-degree kidnapping after Wiley’s remains were found in a wooded area of Trumbull Friday.
Richards is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on charges that he killed her after he turned himself in Saturday afternoon. He is being held on $2 million bond and will appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Monday.
