After watching the Moore, Okla. Devastation play out on television Monday night, some Newtown residents decided on doing something cathartic.

Howard Wood and John DiCostanzo are taking a 20-foot trailer full of supplies out to Oklahoma. They’re looking for clothing, personal hygiene products and anything that can help out with the cleanup process.

“We’ve gotten a lot of response from Facebook, and one of the insurance companies from Hartford made a big donation,” Wood said.

Anyone interested in making a donation in the form of cash, a check or supplies can stop by their business: Nexus Consulting, 200 Birge Park Road, Harwinton, before 2 p.m. Thursday.
