The wet weather will continue Saturday and Sunday — but the warmth will not, said FOX CT Meteorologist Joe Furey. There’s even a chance of snow in some parts of New England, he said.

On and off rain will continue into Saturday, and temperatures will drop to the upper 40s and lower 50s. Sunday will be “a little better, but no picnic weather,” Furey said.

The good news is that the sun should be out by Memorial Day on Monday, he said, and temperatures will be back in the 70s.

Some higher elevations in central and northern New England might get snow, Furey said.

As for southern New England, in the Berkshires and other high spots, “There’s always a chance.”
