Monday, 11 a.m.
The parade begins at the Towpath Annex on Simsbury Road, stops at Avon Congregational Church for memorial service, proceeds down Old Farms Road, through Columbus Circle, stops at Prince Thomas of Savoy Club, to Route 44, and finishes at the veteran’s memorial at Avon Park South.

BERLIN

Monday, 9 a.m.
The parade begins on Farmington Avenue, onto Masserio Drive, through the Berlin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10732, down Veterans Way, and ending at the Berlin Veterans Memorial Park. In the event of rain, services will be held at the Berlin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10732 on Masserio Drive at 9 a.m.

BRISTOL

Monday, 9 a.m. and noon
The first parade will begin at 9 a.m. in downtown. The second will begin in the Forestville section at noon.

Additionally, on Saturday and Sunday, the Mum Festival is sponsoring its Balloons over Bristol. On Saturday the balloons will glow at dusk, and on Sunday there will be lift-offs at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Bristol Auto Club will host a car show on the Boulevard from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday. There will be live music that day starting at noon, provided by the Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers and the 94th Army Band. Read The Story

CANTON

Monday, 10 a.m.
Parade begins on Dyer Avenue, turns onto Maple Avenue, proceeds onto Main Street, turns onto Center Street, and continues towards the Village Cemetery where a memorial service will be held.

EAST HAMPTON

Monday, 9 a.m.
The parade begins at East Hampton High School on North Maple Street. It then continues down Hills Avenue, continues onto North Main Street, then to Route 66. The parade turn onto Lakeview Street, where it stops and a ceremony is held. The parade then continues to the Village Center, where another ceremony will be held near the boulder.

EAST HARTFORD

Monday, 10:30 a.m.
The parade steps off at Burnside Avenue. The parks and receration department will hold ts the 26th Memorial Mile preceding the Memorial Day parade. The one mile race starts on Scotland Road,

ENFIELD

Sunday, 1 p.m.
The parade begins at the corner of South Road and Enfield Street and proceeds northward to end at the Town Halls, where a ceremony will be held.

FARMINGTON

Monday, 8 a.m.
Two parades will be held to honor veterans. The first parade will step off at 8:30 a.m. in Farmington. The second parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. in Unionville. Read The Story

GLASTONBURY

Monday, 9 a.m.
The parade begins at the center of town, at the intersection of Main Street and Wells Road. It then starts south down Main Street, ending on Hubbard Green where a ceremony will be held. Read The Story

MANCHESTER

Monday, 9:30 a.m.
The parade starts at the Army and Navy Club, proceeds up Main Street to East Center Street, where it turns around at Monroe Park (Across from Lenox Pharmacy). The parade ends at Center Memorial Day Park for a Memorial Day Program. In case of rain, the Center Memorial Park program will be held at the Full Gospel Interdenominational Church, 745 Main St., at 11 a.m. Read The Story

MIDDLETOWN

Monday, 10 a.m.
The parade steps off at St. John’s Church at the North End of Main Street before traveling south on Main Street to the South Green. At noon, there will be a ceremony for veterans, led by Larry Riley, a Vietnam veteran. Read The Story

NEW BRITAIN

Thursday, 6 p.m.
The parade will step off at Broad and Burritt streets and will follow Broad Street and then Main Street before reaching the reviewing stand at Central Park. The parade ends at Franklin Square.

There is a series of services being held before the parade.

8:30 a.m. Spanish American War Memorial at Willow Brook Park, 635 S. Main Street;

8:45 a.m. Vietnam Memorial at Willow Brook Park, 635 S. Main Street;

9:15 a.m. Sherrod E. Skinner Memorial on Corbin Avenue/Lincoln Street;

9:45 a.m. Israel Putnam Stone Memorial at Walnut Hill Park, 200 Grand St., behind the Darius Miller Music Shell;

10 a.m. World War I Monument and Louis Gentile Salute to Women Memorial at Walnut Hill Park, 200 Grand Street;

11 a.m. Civil War, World War II, Korean and Vietnam Memorials at Central Park, Main/West Main streets;

12 p.m. Gen. Casimir and Tadeusz Kosciuszko Memorials at Pulaski Park, Broad/Burritt streets;

12:15 p.m. Capt. Brian S. Letendre U.S.M.C. Park at Pendleton Road/Sunnyslope Drive. Read The Story

NEWINGTON

Saturday, 10:30 a.m.
The parade begins at the intersection of Main Street and Robbins Avenue. It continues north on Main Street to Walsh Avenue, where it turns and continues west to Town Hall. A memorial service will be held at the main entrance to Town Hall at noon. Read The Story

PLAINVILLE

Monday, 9 a.m.
The parade will begin on Broad Street, before turning onto North Washington. It then continues down West Main Street. It concludes at Veterans Memorial Park at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Whiting Street with memorial ceremonies to follow.

ROCKY HILL

Monday, 9:30 a.m.
The parade steps off at Rocky Hill High School, 50 Chapin Ave.

SIMSBURY

Monday, 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
There are two parades being held in Simsbury. The Tariffville Parade will step off at the intersection of Main and Winthrop Streets at 9 a.m. It will conclude with a ceremony at St. Bernard’s Cemetery with guest speaker State Representative John K. Hampton.

A second parade will step off at the intersection of Owen Brook Boulevard and Hopmeadow Street at 1:30 p.m. The parade will conclude at Eno Memorial Hall for a ceremony with a special address by state Department of Veterans’ Affairs Commissioner Linda Schwartz. Read The Story

SOUTHINGTON

Monday 10:30 a.m.
The parade will start at the lower lot of Derynoski Elementary School and end at the Town Green which is located on Main Street.

SOUTH WINDSOR

Monday, 10 a.m.
The parade will begin moving south on Nutmeg Road, before turning east onto Pleasant Road. The parade ends at Veteran’s Memorial Park, where a ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.

TOLLAND
Sunday, 1 p.m.
The 22nd Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 26, rain or shine.

The parade will step off at 1 p.m. From the lot next to the Preschool of the Arts on Route 74, continue past the town green, turn right on Old Post Road and end at the Tolland Recreation Center. Read The Story

WEST HARTFORD

Monday, 10 a.m.
The parade begins at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Woodrow Street. The parade will move east on Farmington Avenue before turning south onto South Main Street. It then moves along Goodman Green, turning at Burr Street. The parade will end by the Town Hall off Burr Street. Shortly after the parade’s conclusion, there will be a ceremony held at the West Hartford Veterans Memorial, located at the corner of Farmington Avenue and North Main Street. Read The Story

WETHERSFIELD

Saturday, 9 a.m.
The parade steps off at the state Department of Motor Vehicle parking lot on State Street. After the parade, there will be a ceremony at Village Cemetery, recognizing the town’s veterans. The ceremony will also honor those who were killed last year.

The Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum, on Main Street, will host its fifth annual Revolutionary War encampment featuring a mock battle between the Fifth Connecticut Regiment and a redcoat raiding party. The encampment will be at the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Read The Story

WINDSOR

Monday, 9 a.m.
There will be two ceremonies precluding the parade. The first is at Elm Grove Cemetery on Poquonock at 8 a.m. It is followed by another ceremony at 9 a.m. The parade will start there, traveling east on Poquonock Avenue then turning south to Broad Street. The parade will arrive at the town green between 9:45 and 10 a.m. There, a ceremony will be performed at town hall, including a special flag ceremony by Boy Scout Troop 149. Read The Story

VERNON

Monday, 10 a.m.
There will be a ceremony before the parade at 8:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. The parade will begin on Kingsbury Avenue There are also ceremonies throughout the day, the first being at Grove Hill Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. and the second at the Town Green at 11:15 a.m.
