MARLBOROUGH – A two-car crash on Route 2 closed the westbound lanes, state police said Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred in the area of exit 16, and an unknown number of passengers were taken to the hospital, state police said.
A Department of Transportation email alert at 3:41 p.m. said the westbound lanes had been closed. As of 4:20 p.m. state police said it could be closed for another 30-45 minutes at least.
