A flood warning remains in effect until 9:15 a.m. Saturday in Tolland County where the Willimantic River passes through the areas of Coventry and Mansfield.

The river is at 8 feet, 6 inches, which is just above minor flood stage. At the Eagleville Dam in Mansfield, residents parked their cars and stepped out to snap pictures of the rushing water.

Connecticut received up to four inches of rain in some spots of the state on Friday due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea, but no major flooding problems were reported. Weather is expected to be much better on Saturday with rain tapering off making way for some sun with temperatures in the 70s.
