Gordon Willard of the Connecticut Humane Society brings us this week’s pet of the week: Weezie, a 14-month old beagle, Labrador mix.
Weezie is full of energy and still very much a puppy. She may be a bit rambunctious, but she is smart and trainable. Willard said the Connecticut Humane Society received Weezie after her family could no longer care for her.
Weezie would do well with another dog in the house and loves kids, but shouldn’t be adopted by a family who has cats in the house But families with younger children would probably be best with another pet.
