Drugs Seized, Four Arrested Following Drug Raids In New Haven

NewHavenPoliceCarNEW HAVEN – Police arrested four people in two drug raids early Thursday, police said.

One of the raids took place at 228 Munson Street, where 52-year-old Anderson Atkinson was found with 15 bags of heroin, cash and a facsimile handgun, police said.

Atkinson was arrested on drug and gun charges.

Three more suspects were arrested at 170 Shelton Ave., #8.

Robert Wells, 29, Rhonda Ford, 49 and Jeffrey Nelson, 51, face drug charges. Wells is also charged with operating a drug factory.

Police found a pound of marijuana in Wells’ bedroom and 86 bags of heroin in a hidden compartment in the kitchen floor. The drugs, packaging material and scales were seized, police said.
