The sweep was the result of Sham-Rock, a long-term operation by Hartford police and ATF.
Police seized 7.5 ounces of crack cocaine, 200 bags of heroin, five firearms, $1,452 cash, two bulletproof vests and a BMW 7 Series.
The 15 suspects, whose names have not been released, were arrested by federal and state warrants.
Police said the organization targeted is known to commit violent acts to further their network.
The sweep was conducted in Hartford and multiple surrounding towns by Hartford police and the ATF, with the help of East Hartford police, West Hartford police, U.S. Marshals, the Internal Revenue Service and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
