Man Cycles 26 Hours For Sandy Hook

Sgt. James Elliot left from the Hartford Police Headquarters at 6 a.m. this morning. He will bike the circumference of Connecticut and finish his trip around 8 p.m. tomorrow.

By the time he’s done, he will have biked about 400 miles through a number of towns, including Newtown.

Sgt. Elliot used to be in the U.S. Marine Corps and is currently a member of the U.S. Military Cycling Team.
