After what turned out to be a pretty nice Father’s Day across New England, we’ll feel the humidity pick up overnight. Temperatures on Monday will be warm, with many towns in the low to mid 80s. The air won’t exactly be soupy, but more moderate humidity levels will be in the area for Monday. With some increased moisture in the air, there’s the chance for a few scattered showers during the afternoon. Most of us will stay totally dry, as the shower chance is only at about 20 percent.

Tuesday brings a better chance for rainfall. It’ll be about a 40 percent-50 percent chance during the afternoon hours. Most of the day will be spent with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80.

Once we get past Tuesday, it’s smooth sailing for the middle to the end of the week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will all bring temperatures in the lower 80s, and we’ll see abundant sunshine. After last week’s rain, continued sunshine will be a welcome sight! Early indications are that next weekend looks great as well.
