Saturday wasn’t so bad in terms of humidity, but it certainly will be getting worse. For Sunday and into next week, you’ll notice those rising dew points leading to more uncomfortable heat.

For Saturday though, it was around 80 at the shoreline and mid-80s inland with mostly sunny skies and a few passing clouds during the afternoon and evening. No complaints! One issue is the air quality. Some of you who have trouble breathing may have a problem with the warm stagnant air around the next few days. Because of that “thick” air, we have an air quality alert issued for much of the state.

Sunday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s inland, low to mid 80s for the shore. Chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

Monday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s to low 90s inland, mid 80s along the shoreline. Chance for an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm.

Tuesday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s to low 90s inland, mid 80s along the shoreline. Chance for an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm.

Wednesday: Hazy, hot and humid. Upper 80s to low 90s inland, mid 80s along the shoreline. Scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
