Hear from Laurie Perez about some of the other things the Travelers Championship does outside of the realm of golf, including honoring women and giving back to local charities.

Since 1952, the tournament has generated more than $30 million for charity and in 2012, the Travelers Championship generated $1.154 million for more than 100 charities throughout the region.

The tournament has always been about giving back to the community, since it was founded by the Greater Hartford Jaycees as the Insurance City in 1952.
