A shower or storm can fire up at any time this weekend.  Don’t get too bummed out. Storms will be hit or miss. That means some of you might get lucky and end up mainly dry.  Others will experience heavy downpours and lightning at times. Storms will become more likely during the afternoon hours. Monday and Tuesday look wetter with areas of rain developing. Finally we’ll see improvement in the forecast by the middle and end of next week with storms becoming less likely each day through July 4.

By the way, we’re about 2 inches away from the rainiest June on record.

Overnight: Mild and muggy with a storm in spots. Low: Near 70.

Saturday & Sunday: A mix of sun and clouds with scattered showers and storms. High: 80-85.

Monday & Tuesday: Mostly cloudy to cloudy with areas of rain and scattered storms. High: Low 80s.
