When six foot eight inch Brittney Griner graduated from Baylor, there was little doubt she would be the number one pick in the WNBA draft.
Once she became a part of the Phoenix Mercury, the question was how she would stand up to the pressure and hype.
This past Saturday, Griner discussed the pressure of being a number one pick.
Although Saturday against the Connecticut Sun, Griner exited the game early with just nine points and five boards thanks to her six fouls.
She seems to be adjusting just fine to the pro game. In her first ten games she is averaging just over fifteen points, six rebounds, and close to three blocks.
