Celebrate The Holiday Weekend At The Box Office

Independence Day is one of Hollywood’s favorite holidays and this weekend the box office is releasing highly anticipated summer movies. Peter Fox, editor of Venu Magazine, joins the show to talk about what the box office has to offer this summer.

This 4th of July holiday weekend, there are plenty of family movies to choose from. Actor Steve Carell is back as the voice of Gru, who’s recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help fight a new super-criminal in “Despicable Me 2.”

There is also a stand-up comedy concert film: “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain.”

And the Disney remake of “The Lone Ranger” aims to tell the story of how John Reid came to be the man behind the mask. The movie stars Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger
