The heat cranks up a notch on Friday with even more Connecticut towns soaring into the 90s. Sound hot?  It will feel even hotter with heat indices 95-100 degrees. That will likely prompt the National Weather Service to issue another Heat Advisory.

Despite the heat and humidity, the threat for storms remains relatively low thanks to a big ridge of high pressure.  That ridge will start to break down later this weekend into early next week, increasing the chance for scattered thunderstorms.
